Call for Papers: Topics on Flexible Energy Storage Devices
The fast-paced electronics industry foresees a unique demand for portable and flexible electronic devices such as roll-up mobile phones, flexible watches, and smart garments. These flexible electronics require incorporated batteries that can seamlessly comply with the intended deformation, including bending, stretching, and twisting, without compromising their electrochemical and safety performance. Therefore, flexible batteries have emerged as a new interest from both industry and academia.
To showcase recent advances this newly renovated field, we present this special issue on the topic of “flexible energy storage devices”. The issue collects together contributions from active experts in the related field and highlights the following topics (not limited to)
Submission Guideline
Original research articles, reviews, letters and commentaries in English are required. A normal length of 3 000-6 000 words, no more than 10 000 words are suggested.

Prof. YAN Jianhua, received his PhD degree from West Virginia University in USA in 2015. After two years of post-doctoral in West Virginia University and Berkeley Lab, Dr. Yan stated his career as a full Professor of Materials Science in Donghua University in 2017. Dr. Yan’s research focuses on inorganic nanofiber materials, fiber based flexible batteries/cells, and wearable electronics and power supplies.
